How do i find out the playtime of a given mp3.

I'm finding the demo files a bit hard to understand.

I need this to maintain an itunes feed automatically

demo.basic.php should be very simple to understand.

seriouly guys, getID3 could be a wonderful tool, but it sucks like hell cause there is not real documentation and even the most simple demo messes things up. i tried 6 hrs just to find out demo.basic.php just dont work. i tried every possible style of writing a path, i tried local and remote files (like written in the readme.txt), i tried to force errors - not even this worked. did i mention i tried this on different php environments, local and remote ?

WTF ? do we have to use a rare PEAR thing or what ? i'm very disappointed.
