New version, new problem

Postby gigadreamer » Mon Jul 29, 2013 5:21 am

A php4 Server was upgraded to php5 with a new mysql version, so the getid3 libraries was also updated.
With the Version 1.7.9 I get an error when trying to work into the mysql db:

here's the code:
include_once('/libraries/getid3/getid3.php');
include_once('/libraries/getid3/extension.cache.mysql.php');
$getID3 = new getID3_cached_mysql($mysqlhost,$mysqldb,$mysqluser,$mysqlpass); <-- Fatal error: Call to undefined method getID3::getID3() in /webserverpath/libraries/getid3/extension.cache.mysql.php on line 115

it seems to sucefully create the table and insert the first row with the script Version. What could it be?

I assume you mean v1.9.7 (not 1.7.9)

The call to parent::getID3() should be changed to parent::__construct()

Patched in https://github.com/JamesHeinrich/getID3/commit/33bba8ccb843556247a22f83e9670bd979324e0c
