SVG Support

We use getID3 in the Open Clipart Library.

In the current version there is SVG support.
We now created a new Beta site for the OCAL.
But getid3 does not check invalid SVG files. But it does on the old site.
I use get ID3 1.7.9. on the beta site.

Is SVG really added to getID3 or do we maybe use a hacked version on the old site?

getID3 (until now) had very little native support for SVG. For the last few versions it could detect some (but not all) SVG files, but did not return any other useful info. I've now added some very crude support for SVG. It doesn't do much, but should more reliably detect SVG files and return nominal display resolution and SVG version, if available.

If anyone is interested, feel free to extend the attached module.graphic.svg.php and send it back to info@getid3.org if you make any improvements. Any sample files that don't behave properly with the attached version are also welcome at that email address.

Remember, also, that there is a user-contributed SVG module available for download:

This is not considered part of the getID3 distribution, but it should be a drop-in replacement for the stock module.graphic.svg.php and be far more comprehensive.
