This is confusing and should be considered a bug:
While module.tag.id3v2.php uses the WCP/WCOP frame to the populate the field 'copyright', write.id3v2.php expects the same information to be supplied as 'copyright_information'.
And by the way: The inofficial ID3v2.3 standard describes WCOP like this: "The 'Copyright/Legal information' frame is a URL pointing at a webpage where the terms of use and ownership of the file is described." So for clarity the field should be called something like 'copyright_url' in getID3 (the name has to be changed in one place anyway...).
It would also be nice if TCR/TCOP as the actually important field which is supported by most applications would be mapped to 'copyright' instead of 'copyright_message'. But I can see how this would break BC...
Field names ID3v2: 'copyright' vs. 'copyright_information'
