wma protected file ?

Post by fat » Mon Oct 09, 2006 10:14 am

Hello,

I'm using getid3 to convert all my sound files (wma, ogg, mp3) to mp3 well tagged with id3v1. I use ffmpeg to convert wma and ogg to mp3 but I'd like to keep the protected wma as its but I don't konw how to find if a wma is protected or not. Do you have any tips on this ? Thanks in advance.

I do not have a protected wma file, so I cannot test the following.

You could try this on module.audio-video.asf.php line 902:

Code: Select all

case GETID3_ASF_Extended_Content_Encryption_Object:
case GETID3_ASF_Content_Encryption_Object:
    // WMA DRM - just ignore
    $offset += ($NextObjectSize - 16 - 8);

    // some logic here like this
    $thisfile_asf['protected'] = true;

    break;
