Loads incorrect QuickTime video sizes

Post by drewish » Wed Oct 15, 2008 1:48 am

I've found that getID3 is incorrectly computing the sizes for QuickTime videos. The video was generated by resizing a video using QuickTime 7 Pro. You'll notice that the tapt atom is unrecognized. From what I tell newer versions use that to store aspect ratio information. I'm assuming this should be factored into the calculation of the size.

I've attached a dump of the file info.

Please PM me a link to a sample file that's returning incorrect sizes as described, and I'll look into fixing it.
