Any chance of supporting AMR, and 3gpp.

Both are mobile related codecs and would be most welcome additions.

+1 for AMR and 3GPP formats

Though I am *very* new to using getID3 (about 1 hour), I am very interested in having support for 3GPP format. AFAIK, MPlayer and Quicktime are the only end user tools that support this format (except for the Nokia Developers Kit).

The 3GPP specs are located here:

There appears to be code in the MPEG4IP project that decodes and gets info from 3GPP and AAC files. The code is in C++ and it's under the Mozilla license, but I'm sure similar algorithms could be simulated in PHP.

I'm not very familiar with any of these projects, but would be willing to investigate them to have support for such features.
