I look after a website which contains audio archives for the UK caving community, and I use ID3 to tag the recordings with appropriate details and a photograph. These are useful if the user wishes to download the MP3 files for playing on external devices:

I acknowledge my use of the ID3 library at http://caving-library.org.uk/audio/notes.shtml

Re: Caving Audio Archives
Hi there,
I really like the way your site presents the audio archive. I am the admin/creator of an online audio archive as well (http://www.cloudfactory.org/music) and have been looking at ways to improve the presentation. I'm wondering if you would be willing to share the php files that you use?
